What's in a name?
Quite a lot when it refers to your website.

Often, the most appropriate domain name will be your company name, but there are times when it might be useful to choose something more closely allied to your line of business, or even to have more than one domain name pointing to your site.

For example, if you own a DVD rental business in Oxford, you might want to buy the domain name "www.oxford-dvd-rental.co.uk" as well as (or instead of) your business name. This will also give your business a greater chance of a high Search Engine position for the search phrase "Oxford DVD rental" (when allied to a well optimised web page of course).

A high Search Engine ranking is not gained by a good domain name alone, but a well chosen name certainly helps.
